  • October 3: Final day to register (contact april@esartleague.org)
  • Thursday, October 10 – Delivery of Artwork from 10 – noon
  • October 12 – 2nd Friday at HOS – 5 pm to 8 pm – opening reception. Invite your friends for wine, hors-d’oeuvres, music, and the artist’s choice winners announcement.
  • Wednesday, December 12 – Pick up work from 10 to noon

Participants in the Summer Show at the Historic Onancock School are invited to continue showing their work until October 10 instead of September 19. If you would not like to have your work remain until the October date please contact Marge Bradach at 757-665-4507 or magpienow@aol.com. 


Chatham Flower Farm – Sale Opportunity
Saturday, October 20, 2018 from 5:30pm to 10:30pm

  • ARTISTS are invited to set up and sell at an event at Chatham Flower Farm.
  • No fee. No commission. Plenty of outdoor space.
  • The event benefits the Artisans Guild and Delmarva Farmers Union, and
  • includes a seated dinner @$50 per person and live auction. Limited tickets.
  • Cash bars and produce sales on the site.

Announcing the return of Liesl Fredrick Gallery to Onancock with a Special Opening Show

Mighty Miniatures, Saturday, November 3, 2018 – January 11, 2019

  • An exhibit of tiny works of art entitled Mighty Miniatures, the first official show of Liesl Fredrick, runs from Nov 3 to Jan 5, 2019, at the Gallery at 59 Market Street. (See the attachment for requirements and entry form for your submission.)

Chincoteague Plein Air Event – Quick Draw  September 6th

As part of the Chincoteague Cultural Alliance’s 2018 Plein Air Event, there will be a QUICK DRAW on September 6th which is open to anyone who would like to participate. Registration is at 12:30 at Robert Reed Park (downtown park at the Misty statue) and the cost is $5. Artists will have from 1-3:00 pm to create a Plein Air piece in the medium of their choice in and around the Park and Main Street areas. At 3:00, artwork must be framed and ready for judging at the Park pavilion. Modest prizes will be awarded and the artwork will then be available for purchase until 4:30. CCA will handle sales and retain a 25% commission.

Announcing the return of Liesl Fredrick Gallery to Onancock with the special opening show at 59 Market Street

Mighty Miniatures, Saturday, November 3, 2018 – January 11, 2019

The show runs from Saturday, November 3, 2018, to Friday, January 11, 2019. Flatwork must be no larger than 25 square inches (measure width and length and multiply together), regardless of matting and framing size. 3D art must be no larger 25 square inches in any dimension. Art will be accepted October 31, November 1 and 2, the show will start on Saturday, November 3. A reception will take place Saturday, November 3 from 3 to 5 PM. There will be voting and a prize for People’s Choice.

All work will hang in or be visible from the large windows of the Gallery located at 59 Market Street in Onancock. Cost is $5.00 per piece, limit 3 pieces. Sales commission is 25%. The show will have special hours Thanksgiving weekend – Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, November 23, 24 and 25, as well as Christmas shopping Sunday and Monday, December 23 and 24, and during regular shop hours of Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 10 to 4 and Saturday 10 to 3 during the show period.
